Congenital Heart Disease is the most common birth defect. Critical forms require surgical or other intervention within the first month of life. Screening for CCHD using pulse oximetry can help save lives through early detection. This tooklit is designed to assist clinical staff with the implementation of CCHD screening. It provides educational resources for clinical providers as well as parents and is available in English, Spanish, and Arabic upon request.
Children's National is a 313-bed freestanding children's hospital located in the nation's capital.
