  • Why Does Newborn Screening Matter to You?

Join Baby’s First Test in celebrating Newborn Screening Awareness Month in September by sharing why newborn screening matters to you!

    Who can participate? Anyone!

How can you participate? There are many different ways you can participate in September.

    1. Share Your Story: Simply finish the sentence, "Newborn screening matters because..." and send your response to [email protected], along with a picture. Pictures can be fun and creative, and may include yourself, your child(ren), family, staff, or any other representation of why newborn screening matters to you. Responses are not limited to a single sentence or format. You and/or your organization will be featured in our newsletter and on our social media channels throughout September.

    2. Mark Your Calenders! Join Baby's First Test and March of Dimes for a tweet chat on September 22nd at 2pm ET. More information will be available in early September.

    3. Newborn Screening Education Materials: Baby's First Test has newborn screening materials, including updated brochures and infographics, free of charge for your outreach. Contact [email protected] for more information.

How can you help spread the word? You can help by sharing this information with your friends, family, and colleagues!
